*Gov Soludo Unveils UHBET Centre, AiRS*
The office of the Unified Hybrid Enforcement Team of the AiRS otherwise known as *UHBET Centre* was today December 30,2023 unveiled by the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR. The Unveiling took place at the White House UHBET Centre Revenue House Annex, Awka.
The Anambra State Board of Internal Revenue Chairman/Chief Executive, Dr Greg Ezeilo FCA in his opening remark gave a brief account of the UHBET Centre initially known as AiRS Gaming Board Office and how his administration initiated the uncommon transformation to what it is today, known as UHBET Centre. Dr Ezeilo also took the deputy governor, Dr Onyeka Ibezim who represented the State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR on a guided tour of the facilities at the centre.
In his response, the highly elated deputy governor, Dr Ibezim eulogized the AiRS Chairman for his uncommon transformation with the State Board of Internal Revenue and for initiating the UHBET enforcement team who are saddled with the responsibility of enforcing revenue compliance within the State in a civil manner. Dr Ibezim also inspected the Guard of Honor by the UHBET personnel on parade and finally unveiled the conspicuously displayed sign post of the UHBET Centre to the glory of God.
Present at the event were some Heads of department, AiRS which includes, Mr Chika Ofomata, Mrs Juliet Nwakpadolu, Mrs Chinyere Analite, Mr Daniel Okoye* amongst others. Also the three State Coordinators of UHBET team; *Mr Evaristus Offor* (Anambra Central UHBET State Coordinator), Mr Chijioke Okoli, (UHBET State Coordinator Anambra South) and *Hon Chiejina Obieze* (UHBET State Coordinator Anambra North) and other members of the UHBET personnel.
